The web server may process normal technical logs, including IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, browser user agent, referrer, and error/debug information. These logs are used to operate the site, diagnose problems, protect against abuse, and understand service reliability.
If you send feedback by email, your email address and message content will be processed so the message can be read and replied to.
The weather observations shown on this site are public weather data, not personal user data. Public/private hobby station feeds may be added only where a station owner provides or approves a public feed for display.
Weather values shown on weatherdata.ie are raw/latest observations and are not quality controlled by weatherdata.ie. Values may be cached, transformed, delayed, incomplete or incorrect, and should not be used as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions.
Some pages load resources from third parties. These services may receive your IP address and browser details when your browser requests their resources.
The site is hosted by Blacknight. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for operation, security and troubleshooting. A typical retention target is up to 90 days unless investigation of abuse, errors or security issues requires longer retention.
You can contact weatherdata@oreilly.ie about privacy questions or requests relating to personal data you have sent to the site, such as feedback emails.
This policy may be updated as the site changes, especially if analytics, accounts, public station submissions, or additional third-party services are added.
